We Believe

The Bible is the Inspired Word of God

2 Timothy 3:16-17  "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

That All have sinned

Romans 3:23  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

In the Virgin Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ

Isaiah 7:14  "Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel."

Luke 1:31-33  "And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call His name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of David: And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end."

That Jesus Christ is the Only Savior

Acts 4:12  "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved."

John 14:6  "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."

In Salvation by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ

Ephesians 2:8-9  "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

In the Ordinances of Baptism by Immersion and the Lord's Supper
Both for Believers

Romans 6:3-5  "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore, we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection."

I Corinthians 11:23-26  "For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which was broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as oft as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till He come."

In the Pre-tribulation Rapture
and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

John 14:1-3  "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

I Thessalonians 4:16-18  "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words."

Revelations 20:11-15 "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

In the Separation of the believer both from apostasy and the evils of this present world

2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1  "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore, come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing: and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

I John 2:15-17  "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

In a Mission-minded Church, witnessing for Christ by life and word-Both at home and abroad

Mark 16:15 "And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

Acts 1:8  "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
